This candle is in honor of my friends daughter Makayla Joy Sitton(b/c like the flame on this candle her light will never stop burning either) you see Makayla was brutally gunned down as she sleep and shot 3 times once in the head execution style while her father was outside trying to break his special & precious daughters window to get in & save her as he heard the shots ring out.Oh yea,I forgot to mention one thing the day, well it was THANKSGIVING DAY! Unless u have lost a child yourself & this brutally u r never going to feel the pain they feel.But there is something u can do to put a smile on their faces.Their biggest fear is that she will be forgotton but there is a website they made called www.Inlovingmemoryofmakaylajoysitton.com where it tells her story & different thing but what they love most is there is a guestbook where you can leave a message to Muriel her mama and Jim her papa telling them what you want where you grabbed her balloon(so they know she is known all over the world and r passing it on Ive never seen more genuine smiles on their faces then when they read them.I thank you from the bottom of my heart if u could just leave a short message to make them smile when you go to the site you will see guestbook in the menu or also a guestbook icon you can click on that will take you to the page.Thank you Her murderer went uncaught that day b4 he shot Makayla u may wonder why Jim was on the outside & this monster was on the inside of the house. Well they were talking outside or saying goodbye to some people, they had around 17 family members there that day & night. They werent expecting Paul(an estranged family member to show for Thanksgiving dinner but he did & Jim let him in, he was family, his mom & dad where there what was he supposed to do, no one would dream it would end like this. Unfortunately, he(Paul) was also the monster! And while Jim was outside he heard shots ring out u see Makaylas life wasnt the only one taken that night. The monster shot his twin sisters one pregnant both, 3 counting fetus dead, then he took aim at his Aunt Raymonde Joseph (Muriels mom) Muriel being Makaylas mother so Muriel lost her daughter & mother in the same few short minutes. Now Muriel doesnt even have her mother to help her grieve but she does have Jim & they will take care of one another forever! It was 5 long agonizing weeks b4 Paul was caught by Americas Most Wanted in the Keys I say agonizing b/c not only was he loose & 4 dead(and a fetus) but he threatened to come back & finish the job. He had also shot Patrick(the father of the unborn child) & Patrick was in a coma but is now awake minus a wife & child.This family has shown remarkable courage on the outside but I know are going through their own private hell on the inside I dont believe there is much we can do for them. However we can honor their daughter by passing the balloon and keeping her story and memory alive!I told her father the first time I put the balloon out and he thought that was so wonderful and said hed like to see it when I saw it had only gone 5 places I was embarrassed as could be that people couldnt take 5 minutes, if that out of their day to pass it IM passing it to everyone on my list (I think there is a 6 people a day limit but you can always come back) & begging them to pass it on, and now Im begging you the people to please honor this child and family by keeping it in the air(even if u only pass it to a few friends we thank you) I know Jim and Muriel would love it please PLEASE look at this angel dont sit by just send to your friends and tell them to please pass it to if not all their friends at least some otherwise the chain breaks and doesnt go any further.The number one thing is to express to your friends to not just grab it that does no good but to Pass it.
